Leucanthemum Coconut (also known as Double Shasta Daisy) is a variation of the Shasta Daisy, a hybrid plant Luther Burbank developed in the 1890s in California. Coconut is distinguished from the similar Victorian Secret cultivar primarily by its fluffy, fringed blooms which span 3" in diameter and resemble shaved coconut pieces. Coconut reaches 18-24" in height, similar to the Lucille Grace variety. Flowering from June to August, Coconut resists deer, attracts pollinators, and makes a wonderful addition to garden beds, pots, and even vases as a cut flower.
