Rex Begonias have beautifully textured leaves with a wide varitey of colors and patterns. Some may have a few blooms but this plant is known for it's eye-catching foliage. These have a similar culture to Angelwing except somewhat slower no pinching is needed.
Allow soil to dry slightly between watering. Soil should be moderatly moist. Bacteria can be a problem: start clean grow clean. Habit is more for small pots. Allow 6-8 weeks to finish a 4in pot at 60 degree night temperature. Watch for thrips.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
