Wow. These beautiful plants like it hot! If you're tired of temperamental plants, try Purslane (otherwise known as Portulaca). They are ever-blooming landscape/container plants that seem to flourish in brighter sun and hotter temperatures. It's not unusual to see over 100 blooms on a 10" hanging basket. Blooms come in a range of vivid, illuminating colors on dense tough foliage. The "Big Bloom" varieties have blooms approximately 2" across.

General Growing Tips:

Plant 2 plants per 4" pot with one pinch after planting. Allow 4-6 weeks to finish. On a 10" basket, plant 7-10 plants per pot and allow 8 weeks for a finished basket. Watch for aphids.
