Description:

This wonderful plant makes beautiful baskets from starter plants in just 10 weeks. A well-grown basket can have a hundred or more of the fuzzy red "tails" (blooms). Also called "firetail plant," it likes bright light with moderate feed in well-drained soil, pH between 5.5 and 6.5.

General Growing Tips:

Plant 5 plants per 10" basket at 60 degree night temperature to finish in 10 weeks. Use low feed to start and moderate feed as the days lengthen in the spring. Watch for white flies.
