Description:
This beautiful plant actually cleans the chemicals out of the air while it humidifies and oxygenates its surroundings. A great house plant or patio plant; they like the humidity. If you are growing in a dry environment like most homes, you can create humidity for the plant by growing it in a pot that sits in a saucer full of rocks. The saucer should only be about 1/2 full, never high enough to touch the pot containing the plant. These vining, fast-growing wonders can live many years with proper care.
General Growing Tips:
Well-drained soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5 and low feed are recommended. Watch for spider mites and mealy bugs. Several cuttings per pot should be used on these varieties (our starters have 3 plants per starter) because the more cuttings planted, the more full the pot. Allow 8 weeks at 60 degree night temperature for 4" pots. Grow in low to medium light. 10" baskets will need 20 cuttings (7 starter plants) and 12 weeks to finish.
