Wandering Jew is native to the Tropical Rain Forest that is not only beautiful but fast and easy to grow. Wandering Jew is a trailing plant that makes a great hanging basket (or good ground cover until frost). Foliage of the Wandering Jew grows to be several feet in length which makes this plant a favorite for horticulture applications.
Wandering Jew plants flourish in partial shade humid air and rich well-drained soil with a minimum temperature of 55-60 degrees. The soil should be pretty moist at all times but especially in the summer. When the plants have developed a good root system diluted liquid fertilizer can be fed at weekly intervals. Plant 15 cuttings (8 starter plugs) per 10in basket. Watch for aphids and mealybugs.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
