This native of Canada is fast beautiful and easy to grow. Piggyback has a mounding habit and makes a great hanging basket or a good ground cover. The leaves can get 2in wide 4in long and are green and fuzzy. Very fun plant to grow.
Flourishes in partial shade rich well-drained soil minimum temperature of 50 degree and somewhat humid air. The soil should be pretty moist at all times but especially so in the summer. When the plants have developed a good root system diluted liquid fertilizer can be fed at weekly intervals. Plant 3 plugs per 10in basket. Watch for aphids and mealybugs.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
