Purslane "All Mixed Up" is an un-named mixture of colors. If you're tired of temperamental plants try Purslane (otherwise known as Portulaca). They are ever-blooming landscape/container plants that seem to flourish in brighter sun and hotter temperatures. It's not unusual to see over 100 blooms on a 10in hanging basket. Blooms come in a range of vivid illuminating colors on dense tough foliage.
For the best results with Purslane, grow at 60 degree for 8-10 weeks. Try sticking these unrooted cuttings directly into baskets. Purslane must have bright light. One of the best plants you can grow in hot sunny locations. Plant 2 plugs per 4in pot with one pinch after planting. Plant 7-10 plugs per 10in basket. Purslane is a tough plant that stores water in it's succulent leaves. Watch for aphids.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
