New Guinea Impatiens are one of the most beautiful of spring annuals. This native of New Guinea offers a wide range of colors on large showy blooms with foliage that is strong and elegant. New Guinea Impatiens require medium light and cool temperatures. If you keep them at 60-80 degrees they will perform their best. They can be grown easily and quickly for landscape use or pot culture. Propagation is prohibited.
1 plug per 4 pot with well-drained soil. Low feed until established (no pinch necessary). 60 degree night to 80 degree day temperatures. 10in baskets will need 4 plugs per pot. Use medium light. Watch for thrips and spider mites. Drench with fungicide at planting is recommended.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
