New Guinea Impatiens like filtered light and well drained soil. Watch for spider mites and thrips, especially as the weather warms toward spring. Drench with fungicide at planting is recommended. Low feed until established (no pinch necessary). We recommend 1 plug per 4in pot and 4 plugs per 10in pot. Grow at 60 degree night temperatures. Shade for spring and summer.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
