The Lamium variety is a perennial plant that ranges 6in - 12in height. It is used in hanging baskets and makes a nice addition to combination baskets: its mauve flowers contrast with its silver foliage. Lamium also makes a good ground cover and will brighten up any shady area with its silvery leaves.
To achieve the best results, Lamium likes well-drained soil and high light (moderate sun). It can tolerate cooler temperatures down to 50 degrees at night. Plant 4 plants per 10in basket. Lamium will benefit by a shearing in the spring to stimulate healthy, new growth.
Cuttings vary in size between different plant families. These rooted starter plants will arrive ready to be transplanted in to your final container. If they are to be used in a landscape application, you will need to establish them in a 4 inch pot or an 1801 before planting outside.
